What is transcription?

Also known as "tape transcription", this service converts audio from lectures, roundtable discussions, symposiums, panel discussions, meetings, interviews, dialogues and more into text. By keeping this content as text data, you can edit the parts you need and use them in many ways in the future.

We deliver in four levels of finish depending on your purpose.

Level 1: For publication

We correct inconsistencies in style (formal and plain forms) and make revisions that reflect the nuances of the recording. The text is polished so it can be used in printed materials or press releases. All levels can be delivered by e-mail, CD, MO or another format of your choice.

Level 2: For external documents

We correct duplications, inversions, restatements and repetitions, remove unnecessary speech and organize the wording to make the text easy to read.

Level 3: For editing

We remove fillers such as "well..." and "um..." that are not needed to understand the content, and make minimal corrections to grammatically unnatural parts. The result keeps the nuances of the conversation, which suits interviews and similar content.

Level 4: Before translation

We transcribe everything word for word, faithfully to the recording, including fillers such as "well..." and "um...". Suitable for preparing source text before translation.
